Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Data Center Technician in Aurora, CO to maintain data center systems and respond to client requests. You will work closely with a small team in a large facility, performing routine checks, ticket handling, and monthly/quarterly testing.

Responsibilities

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Data Center Technician in the Aurora, CO, area. They will be working in a large data center facility and with a small team to perform customer service operations and maintenance of the data center network facilities. They will be responsible for weekly checks on the systems, responding to customer service tickets, and running monthly and quarterly tests. The candidate will be working with generators, UPS, HVAC, fire detection devices, and security systems. They will also be doing basic cabling; circuit installation; data center installation of cages, cabinets, ladder racks, fiber trays, customer maintenance issues, and facility maintenance.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of experience within a telecom or data center technician role


• Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT


• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges


• Excellent customer service skills and desire to be client facing

Must be able to work the following shift:

Week 1 Monday 6P-6A, Tuesday 6P-10P Friday 6P-6A, Saturday 6P-6AWeek 2 Sunday 6P -6A, Tuesday 10P-6A, Wednesday 8p-6A, Thursday 8p-6Aor
