Job summary

Kelly Digital Infrastructure in Boston, MA is seeking a data center operations professional to manage on-site activities, ensure uptime, and oversee fiber plant work at customer sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate fiber optic deployments (single-mode & multi-mode), perform OTDR testing, troubleshoot, and drive migrations and remediation while maintaining clear customer communication and traveling up to 50% to client data centers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of data center operations experience.
• Hands-on fiber optic cabling experience (single-mode, multi-mode, LC, fan-outs, and structured cabling).
• Optical testing and troubleshooting experience (OTDR, VFL, optical power meters).
• Experience with fiber installation, migrations, break/fix, and remediation.
• Team leadership and strong customer communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work on-site at customer data centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center operations efforts at customer sites.
