Job summary

DSV is seeking a Data Center Associate to support material orders, customer service, and inventory management at our USA datacenter. You will assemble and install servers and components using a range of hand and power tools, following diagrams and schematics.

You will regularly interact with customers and stakeholders, perform safety-conscious operations, and execute inventory counts and returns to ensure data center readiness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Must be able to pass background checks and/or drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenish critical spare parts on site.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using warehouse systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measurements with high accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams.
• Install rack hardware using hand/power/ measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with 5S standards.
