Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to manage team assignments, coordinate workflow, and ensure throughput according to schedule. You will lead daily floor activities, conduct huddles, and prioritize tasks with a focus on safety and OSHA compliance.

Pay ranges from $22.00 to $26.50 per hour depending on shift, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading warehouse teams and coordinating workflow.
• Background in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily floor assignments, shift start-up meetings (huddles), and task prioritization.
• Monitor real-time workflow to identify bottlenecks and reallocate staff to maintain throughput goals.
• Train, onboard, and mentor new team members on SOPs, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
• Serve as primary point of contact for team questions and operational troubleshooting during shifts.
• Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, OSHA guidelines, and conduct pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Conduct periodic quality audits on outbound orders to ensure picking/packing accuracy.

Shift Schedules and Pay

• Mon- Thurs(6 AM - 2:30 PM)- $22.00
• Mon-Thurs(2 PM - 10:30 PM)-$24.00
• Sun- Thurs (8 PM - 6:30 AM)- $24.50
• Thurs- Sun (6 AM - 4:30 PM)- $24.50
• Thurs-Sun (6 PM - 4:30 AM)- $26.50

Responsibilities

• Manage your team of asscoiates and the workflow
• Strong verbal and written comuncations
• Team Leadership & Workflow Coordination (approx. 30/50% of time)
• Direct daily floor assignments, shift start-up meetings (huddles), and task prioritization
• Monitor real-time workflow to identify bottlenecks and reallocate staff to maintain throughput goals
• Train, onboard, and mentor new team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and equipment handling
• Serve as the primary point of contact for team questions and operational troubleshooting during the shift
• Enforce company safety policies, PPE usage, and OSHA guidelines; conduct pre-shift equipment inspections
• Conduct periodic quality audits on outbound orders to ensure picking/packing accuracy
• Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and facility maintenance needs immediately to management

Working Hours

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills

• Hands-on Floor Operations (approx. 50/70% of time)
• Perform regular warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, put-away, and cycle counting
• Team Leadership & Workflow Coordination (approx. 30/50% of time)
• Direct daily floor assignments, shift start-up meetings (huddles), and task prioritization
• Monitor real-time workflow to identify bottlenecks and reallocate staff to maintain throughput goals

• You MUST HAVE previous experience in either warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing
