Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Data Center Team Lead for the Dock on the B-Shift (M-F, 2:00pm–10:30pm) at the New Albany, OH datacenter. The role oversees inbound/outbound freight, server rack placement, and electrical/electronic component installation, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include daily inventory counts, equipment operation, quality checks, and cross-training across departments to meet production goals.

Qualifications

3–5 years of related experience.
Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests as required.
Ability to perform physical tasks (push/pull, lift) and work in a datacenter environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including shipping documents and records.
Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight, verify part numbers and quantities, ensure items are in pristine condition.
Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with high accuracy.
Install rack hardware and cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards through regular area upkeep.
