Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Center System Administrator to support data center operations, including rack/stack, upgrades, and 24/7/365 coverage. Hybrid cloud hosting support and collaboration across a team will be part of this role.

The position requires BS with 4+ years of relevant experience or MS with 2+ years, DoD 8140.03 IT Admin Intermediate certs, and US citizenship with TS/SCI eligibility. The role is based in the Washington, DC area and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Candidate must meet DoDM 8140.03 IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC or higher).
• BS with 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Rack and stack equipment; support upgrades and consolidations.
• Ensure power transfer during outages and support 24/7/365 operations.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data and implement solutions.
• Develop solutions to complex technical issues.
• Provide reports for root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Mentor junior team members, including temporary military support for major projects.
