Job summary

MP NEXLEVEL LLC is seeking a DC Project Supervisor (OSP) to manage on-site utility construction, ensuring project completion within budget, on schedule, and with zero incidents. You will enforce procedures, set daily production goals with the foreman, and monitor scope and milestones.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid DOT health card, a valid driver's license, and prior OSP experience. Proficiency in MS Office and ability to read blueprints are essential.

Qualifications

  • DOT health card and valid driver’s license are required.
  • Previous on-site OSP experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and use computers/electronic devices.

Job description

The DC Project Supervisor (OSP) is responsible for on-site management of the utility construction project so that it is completed within budget, on schedule, and with zero incidents.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enforce all Company, OSHA and other applicable procedures and standards
  • Set daily production goals and expectations with Foreman of project
  • Know the contract scope including standard and special provisions, technical specifications, payment and change clauses and scheduling milestones
  • Track and communicate changes in scope to Project Manager
  • Purchase essential materials for the job per the PO. Authorized, outside of those materials specifically called out in the job estimate, up to $500.00.
  • Complete all administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner (including safety audits and observations, time entry approval, review redlines, review production, etc)
  • Promptly complete authorization of all invoices, receipts, and fuel charges
  • Involved in the recruitment, hiring, development, and termination of employees on the crew
  • Improve personal, technical, and supervisory skills through personal development plans and offered trainings
  • Represent and promote the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • Address all customer questions or concerns
  • Perform labor and operating duties when needed
  • Safety training as required by position
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Education and Qualifications:
  • High School education or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid DOT health card
  • Previous OSP experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to use computers /electronic devices
  • Able to read blueprints and follow job specifications and orders
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
