Equiliem is seeking a Data Center Structured Cabling Technician II in Manassas, VA. The role runs Monday through Saturday on the night shift, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

You will install and support fiber and copper cabling at a large colocation data center, including cable pulling, dressing, termination, testing, patching and labeling. The position requires experience installing and terminating fiber and copper cabling, with data center cabling experience preferred, plus the ability to follow

• Data center cabling experience, with extensive fiber experience preferred.
• Experience testing, patching, dressing, and labeling cabling.
• Fiber splicing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow installation instructions and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Pull, route, and dress fiber and copper cabling throughout the facility.
• Terminate, test, patch, and label fiber and copper cabling according to project requirements.
• Maintain organized cable routing and cable management.
• Inspect completed installations for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues.
• Follow site safety procedures and direction from field leadership.
• Coordinate with team members to complete daily installation tasks.

Data Center Structured Cabling Technician II

Location: Manassas, VA
Schedule/Shift: Monday through Saturday; currently nights, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Pay: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Data Center Structured Cabling Technician II installs and supports fiber and copper cabling at a large colocation data center. Responsibilities include cable pulling, dressing, termination, testing, patching, and labeling throughout the facility. This role requires strong cabling skills, data center experience, and an interest in a long-term assignment.

Job Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and dress fiber and copper cabling throughout the facility.
• Terminate, test, patch, and label fiber and copper cabling according to project requirements.
• Maintain organized cable routing and cable management.
• Inspect completed installations for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues.
• Follow site safety procedures and direction from field leadership.
