Data Center Structured Cabling Group-Senior Scheduler

SUMMARY:

Mortenson's Data Center Structured Cabling Group is currently seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler with the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, flexible, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This individual will oversee all planning and scheduling activities.

Locations: LA, WI, AZ, TX, or possibly remote with travel.

Travel: 25% to 50%

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct scheduling efforts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate planning standards and project schedules.

Provide oversight and supervision of the scheduling team:

• Coach, mentor, and train field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendents.
• Foster a teamwork environment.
• Ensure crews have necessary resources and support.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide work direction.
• Participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions as needed.
• Develop leadership potential through assignments and growth opportunities.
• Implement Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety Program.
• Manage open shop and union issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least six (6) years of construction experience or equivalent training and experience.
• Proficient in scheduling concepts and software such as Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing.
• Ability to anticipate and solve complex project problems creatively and maturely.
• Strong skills in reading, reviewing, and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Basic understanding of project management, contracts, and buyout processes.
• Familiarity with 4D visual planning methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

Compensation Range: $97,600 - $146,400, with higher ranges for specific locations (Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, D.C.).

Note: Base pay depends on experience, skills, and location considerations.
