Job summary

Provident is expanding its Data Center development platform in Dallas, TX. The Solutions Engineer will lead site evaluations, translating customer power and cooling requirements into engineered, costed solutions, and remain engaged through construction to deliver a best-in-class experience for clients.

You will coordinate with sales and operations, manage RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, and present at industry events while staying current on data center trends and market developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Hands-on, in-field experience with electrical/power or mechanical/cooling systems in data centers is required.
• Minimum 5 years with a data center or colocation provider, or 8 years in adjacent fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead site tours, technical sales calls, and solution presentations for major data center customers.
• Translate customer requirements into engineered, costed solutions across power, cooling, and space.
