Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Data Center Solutions Architect to design and deliver end-to-end GPU infrastructure, bridging customer requirements with deep technical design across networking, compute, storage, and data center systems.

The role involves engaging with customers, designing full-stack data center solutions, translating needs into architectures, and collaborating with engineering teams to meet performance and reliability targets, with potential bonus/equity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data center architecture and large-scale infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of leaf/spine networking and high-performance fabrics.
• Experience with GPU systems and AI/ML workloads.
• Familiar with storage systems and distributed infrastructures.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Customer-facing experience is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.

About the Role (Job Purpose)

We are looking for a Data Center Solutions Architect to design and deliver end-to-end GPU infrastructure solutions. This role bridges customer requirements with deep technical design across networking, compute, storage, and data center systems.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

• Engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements and workloads
• Design full-stack data center solutions including:
  • GPU racks and configurations
  • Network architecture (leaf/spine, rail design, InfiniBand, Ethernet, RoCE)
  • Storage systems and data pipelines
  • Control plane and management systems
• Translate customer needs into detailed technical architectures and specifications
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment
• Support deployment planning and ensure performance and reliability targets are met
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers
• Engage in future technology familiarisation and research.
• Familiarity with AI tooling to augment design process above

About You (Skills / Qualifications)

• Strong experience in data center architecture and large-scale infrastructure

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$160,000—$290,000 USD
