Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to design and develop data center infrastructure software products. You will help build core software solutions powering large-scale data center environments and work closely with senior engineers in a fast-paced team.

The role emphasizes learning, evolving priorities, and hands-on experience with our core software products. You will contribute to performance benchmarking, automation, and reliable software delivery across distributed platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Nice to have: K8s, Docker, Git, LLMs, AI Agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI), AI-assisted development tools (Cursor).
• Foundational understanding of software architecture, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development and maintain Software Management and Diagnostic Tools.
• Build automated software solutions for provisioning, monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting across data center platforms.
• Assist in configuring, running, and analyzing software and system performance benchmark workloads.
• Troubleshoot software, automation, and integration issues and develop permanent solutions to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Maintain technical documentation, APIs, and operational procedures for developed software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions addressing real-world system management and operational requirements.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and AI-assisted approaches to improve software development efficiency, diagnostics, and operational workflows.
