Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Project Management Manager to lead end-to-end project management for data center infrastructure and environmental service projects, including water treatment and waste handling. You will coordinate with clients, engineers, and field staff to meet objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage safety and quality across all site activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7+ years of project management experience in data centers and environmental services.
• Experience with EPA, DOT, OSHA regulatory compliance.
• Experience with heavy trucking schedules and fleet dispatch is a major plus.
• Knowledge of data center systems, water treatment, and commissioning is preferred.
• Travel approximately 65% across the North Central region.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for data center infrastructure and environmental service projects, including water treatment, wastewater handling, and waste disposal.
• Manage environmental compliance related to handling, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous and hazardous materials.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and field technicians to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and achieved.
• Oversee field operations, ensuring work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Review and approve project documentation including permits, manifests, reports, and closeout packages.
• Ensure quality control standards are met for all deliverables.
• Support procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
