Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Project Management Manager to lead end-to-end data center infrastructure and environmental service projects, coordinating with clients, engineers, and field personnel to ensure safe, compliant delivery of storage equipment and waste streams.

You will develop detailed plans, manage schedules and budgets, monitor progress, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA), and strive for quality in all deliverables while supporting procurement and logistics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of project management experience in data centers or environmental/industrial services.
• Background in logistics, dispatching, or transportation supervision valued; fleet dispatch is a plus.
• Strong regulatory knowledge (EPA, DOT, OSHA).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with RCRA/DOT regulations.
• Working knowledge of data center systems (cooling, water treatment), preferred.
• Approximately 65% travel across the North Central region.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for data center infrastructure and environmental service projects, including water treatment, wastewater handling, and waste disposal.
• Manage environmental compliance related to handling, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous and hazardous materials.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and field technicians to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and achieved.
• Oversee field operations, ensuring work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Review and approve project documentation including permits, manifests, reports, and closeout packages.
• Ensure quality control standards are met for all deliverables.
• Support procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
