Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Engineer in Denver, CO within the Building Engineering Services Group. You will design facility-related sites, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and guide projects from planning through construction.

Qualified candidates hold a PE license, a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and have strong leadership and communication skills with site grading, utilities, stormwater, and erosion control experience. HDR offers employee ownership and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the local licensing board.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Design facility-related sites for Mission Critical buildings and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams through planning, design and construction.
• Develop site civil scopes of work, budgets, and reports.
• Prepare plan sets, details, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and utility calculations.
• Mentor junior staff and engage with clients and stakeholders.
