Job summary

Edged Data Centers in the North American division is seeking a Site Acquisition Manager to lead acquisition and site evaluation for data center expansion. You’ll work with the Corporate Development team, underwriting opportunities, and coordinating power, entitlements, and feasibility studies to inform investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with development, investments, brokerage, or similar company.
• 5+ years of experience in data center site selection or development.
• Effective Organizational and Time Management Skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate sites for acquisition to facilitate expansion.
• Underwrite and diligence new opportunities; prepare investment memos, market analysis, and business plans.
• Coordinate evaluation of power procurement, entitlements, development feasibility, and customer requirements.
• Formulate the business case justification for acquisition of selected sites with stakeholders.
• Manage acquisition from identification through closing; negotiate purchase agreements and support due diligence.
• Create site evaluation and acquisition reporting for senior management and reviews.
• Interface with municipalities, economic development entities, and customer teams.
• Manage third-party real estate, legal, and due diligence vendors and contracts
