Job summary

Hitachi Energy in North America seeks a senior leader to head the GPQSS Segment Unit, responsible for operational performance, customer satisfaction, and segment strategy execution.

You will oversee tendering, project delivery, budgets, and cross-functional teams while building customer relationships and ensuring safety, compliance, and ethical standards. Travel within the region is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Senior leadership experience with proven success in growth and financial targets.
• Experience in the energy sector and familiarity with matrix organizations.
• Leadership, team management, strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead a GPQSS Segment Unit in North America with responsibility for operational performance, customer satisfaction, and execution of segment strategy.
• Oversee tendering activities, project execution, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor performance against targets and implement improvement actions.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and ethical conduct in operations.
