Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Access Control at USA Parkway, NV data center. You will monitor and patrol the site, manage access points, and deliver professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and emphasizes safety procedures, teamwork, and a culture of integrity. Schedule includes night shifts and a dynamic rotation to cover 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

Valid Driver's License is required.
Guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
Drug screen may be required.
Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by following security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center interior, exterior, perimeter, access points, and parking areas.
Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, and track visitor activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving actions and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents, and access-related events.
