Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We are seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to lead physical security operations across multiple facilities near Boardman, Oregon.

You will manage post orders, security procedures, site incidents, and vendor relationships while driving day‑to‑day improvements in a fast‑paced data center environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• 3+ years of process improvement procedures experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• 4+ years writing detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Managing physical security operations, developing post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents, working with security equipment, participating in construction projects, and driving day-to-day process improvements with vendors.
• Ensuring consistent deployment of security policies, participating in site audits, testing new security technologies, and managing vendor relationships.
• Demonstrating resilient leadership, flexibility in a dynamic environment, and strong written and verbal communication.
