Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Manager to join the AIS Infrastructure Operations team in Frederick, MD. You will oversee security operations, manage contract security staff, and ensure data center protection and incident response.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, monitoring CCTV and access control, performing preventative maintenance, and driving improvements through KPIs while upholding AWS security standards and rapid emergency coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• 1+ year in a data center or other critical environment, or equivalent discipline experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract security staff and daily operations.
• Manage data center security and incident response.
• Coordinate with security vendors and ensure access control, CCTV, and badge issuance.
• Monitor and maintain security systems and regular inspections.
• Develop KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
