M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager to lead large-scale electronic security installation projects at a Burlington, Texas construction site.

You will oversee all aspects of project administration, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with GC and trades. Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in construction or multi-discipline electrical/security projects.
• Experience collaborating with engineering firms, clients, and general contractors.
• Proven track record of successful, multi-discipline project delivery (Fire Alarm, Security, AV, Power, Instrumentation).

Responsibilities

• Overall financial management of the project(s).
• Ensure on-time project completion and schedule adherence.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate PKOM activities.
• Forecast cash flow and manpower for projects.
• Order materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Prepare price proposals and change orders.
• Prepare monthly reports on budget, schedule and manpower.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive quality improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with general contractor and other trades.
• Manage data center security installation work.

We are seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Project Leader 1) to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

A Data Center Security Installation Project Manager is responsible for overall administration, organization, and implementation of large data center electronic security installation projects.

The data center is located in Burlington, Texas. Position is located at the construction project site.

Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to

• Responsible for the overall financial management of the project(s).
• Responsible for on-time project completion.
• Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM).
• Forecasting cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
• Ordering materials, tools, and equipment.
• Preparing price proposals and change orders.
• Prepare monthly reports analyzing the budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
• Identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures, quality improvement and incorporating best practices.
• Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to.
• Coordination with the general contractor and other trades.
• *Experience managing data center security installation work is required.

Qualifications

Education

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics with 7+ years experience or 5+ years with a MS degree

Requirements

• Supervise Construction Project Managers and perform PM duties on construction projects.
• Maintain operational and administrative control for construction projects Extensive Project Management experience managing teams and monitoring multiple projects at any given time.
• Experienced in up-front project involvement with engineering firms, the client, and General Contractors.
• Proven track record of successful projects. Has Managed diverse groups on projects that involve multi-discipline knowledge for example; Fire Alarm, Communications, Security, AV, Power, and Instrumentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Can direct cross function teams to reach mutual agreement to meet business objectives.
• Able to work in a diverse environment, with personnel having a range of backgrounds.
• Strong analytical thinking to evaluate options and directions.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Can facilitate change and communicate effectively.
• Able to think abstractly, in both short and long term planning.
