Job summary

ERM is seeking a Safety Manager for an onsite Data Center construction project in Waddell, Arizona. This full-time, 3-month role (extendable) requires establishing and continuously improving safety programs across the site to meet client standards.

You will lead site safety planning, audits, investigations, and cross-functional safety leadership, coordinating with subcontractors and project teams to uphold OSHA compliance and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in safety, occupational health, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years' H&S experience in construction; data center project experience preferred.
• CHST/CSP certification a plus.
• Experience managing high-risk activities (electrical safety, excavation, fall protection, crane ops).

Responsibilities

• Develop site-specific safety plans and audits in collaboration with project teams.
• Ensure subcontractors submit required safety documentation and implement safety plans.
• Oversee site safety audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses; report findings to client leadership.
• Coordinate safety analyses, risk assessments, and pre-task planning; prepare reports.
