Job summary

Shirley Parsons is partnering with an industry-leading client to identify an experienced Site Safety Representative for a large-scale data center construction project. This on-site role provides day-to-day field leadership, contractor oversight, and essential support to project management.

You will drive safe work practices across the site, lead safety orientations, coordinate training (fall protection, LOTO, forklift, crane operations), conduct JHAs, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Safety Rep or similar on construction projects.
• Strong construction safety background on large-scale projects.
• Data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and field safety practices.
• Experience with JHAs, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Fall protection and LOTO knowledge.
• Ability to engage with project managers and craft personnel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on safety leadership across active construction activities.
• Manage on-site safety orientation, coaching, logistics and training.
• Coordinate site safety training (fall protection, LOTO, forklift, crane, aerial lift).
• Manage Job Hazard Analysis process and documentation.
• Lead weekly toolbox talks and other safety meetings.
• Conduct field inspections, observations, and audits with corrective actions.
• Maintain safety resources, SDS, emergency information, records.
• Respond to injuries/near misses and assist investigations.
• Support incident reporting and OSHA recordkeeping.
