Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Data Center Engineer, Reliability & Infrastructure Management – Compute Supply, to shape power, cooling, and load strategies across our data center fleet. This role sits at the intersection of IT and facilities, influencing site selection, SLA commitments, oversubscription strategies, and workload placement.

You will own topology and load management, build availability models for electrical and mechanical systems, and develop power models to guide capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure or reliability engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with data center power distribution and cooling system architectures.
• Experience in building reliability or availability models or power/capacity models.
• Cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software and facilities teams

Responsibilities

• Topology and load management: own the power and cooling topology and define load management practices.
• Reliability modeling: build and audit availability models for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Power modeling and load forecasting: develop models from workload and hardware generations to guide capacity planning.
• Partner diligence: work with data center developers, cloud providers and vendors to drive design improvements.
• Support incident response and commissioning through to SLA-grade performance.
