Job summary
Vantage Data Centers seeks a Reliability Engineer, Control Systems, to manage the health of critical monitoring and control systems across our global facilities. This role interfaces with Electrical, Mechanical, and Automation teams to ensure reliable operation and maintenance planning, plus support for site operations and design engineers.
The candidate will oversee acceptance testing, control system startup, and ongoing troubleshooting, with 25% travel domestically and internationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of data center operations or related field.
- Experience with PLCs and control system design.
- Knowledge of sensors and monitoring devices.
Responsibilities
- Design verification and testing of control systems during new construction.
- Review submittals, identify deficiencies, and attend factory witness testing.
- Maintain and upgrade maintenance programs for control systems reliability.
- Provide technical support to Site Operations teams for control system issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and facilitate corrective actions.
