Job summary

Oracle in Reston, Virginia, seeks a PDE to serve as the critical planning and technical-readiness partner between program management, engineering, LVVs, and Data Center Build and Deployment Engineers. The role owns upfront technical reviews to ensure requirements are complete, executable, and ready for field deployment.

You will identify design gaps, dependencies, risks early, coordinate with vendors, and drive readiness across multiple concurrent deployments, with a focus on delivering capacity

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with data center, telecommunications, or low-voltage infrastructure deployments.
• 5+ years of structured cabling infrastructure experience, including copper and optical fiber deployment methodologies.
• Ability to review and validate deployment documentation (cut sheets, BOMs, rack layouts, and hardware requirements).
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, connectivity, networking layers, and testing/validation methodologies.
• Experience coordinating or managing low-voltage vendors in complex deployment environments.
• Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently while coordinating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and ensure deployment readiness through technical reviews.
• Coordinate RFQ activities and vendor engagement.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and blockers across deployments.
• Escalate critical issues with clear impact assessment and owners.
• Maintain clear communication on status, decisions, and changes.
• Coordinate design change requests and validate impacts.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, automation, and supply chain teams.
