Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a seasoned Construction Quality Manager to lead QA for data center construction projects across the United States. You will develop QA plans, perform site inspections, and oversee commissioning of MEP systems.

With 9-15 years in data center quality management, you will ensure compliance with codes and standards (Uptime Institute, LEED, ISO, ASHRAE) and mentor construction teams. Relocation assistance is available to the southern US.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9-15 years of experience in construction quality management, preferably in data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Expertise in building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Quality Management Plan tailored for each data center construction project.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor adherence to construction standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Oversee quality and commissioning processes for MEP systems, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, LEED, ISO, ASHRAE).
• Establish project-specific quality control procedures for materials, workmanship, and installations.
• Attend construction progress and commissioning meetings to obtain and relay information.
• Perform root-cause analysis on defects and propose corrective actions.
