Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time QA/QC Manager-Data Center in Auburn, Alabama. The role focuses on developing QA/QC standards, plans, and delivering comprehensive QA/QC oversight for data center projects.

The candidate will train staff, coordinate reviews, perform onsite inspections, and ensure quality installations on site. Data Center experience is preferred; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' electrical construction experience.
• Minimum 4 years in QA/QC or commissioning of electrical systems.
• Proficiency with industry-standard QAQC/CX software.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Develop project-specific QA/QC plans and ensure implementation with Project Team.
• Manages deliverables of all L1, L2, L3 QAQC, Testing, and CX coordination.
• Work with Project CX Team to close out L4/L5 CX activities.
• Train and evaluate project QA/QC staff in quality activities on the project.
• Participate in onboarding and field staff training.
• Coordinate Quality Reviews with project teams and submit reviews to management.
• Perform onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Report all QA/QC activities through project software and internal communications.
• Ensure installations are correct the first time with Project Team.
• Work onsite with the Project Team performing inspections and reporting.
