Job summary

GCS Recruitment is hiring QA/QC Engineers to support a hyperscale data center deployment in Columbus, Ohio. The role focuses on quality across physical data center infrastructure including prefabricated rack builds, onsite rack deployment, and cabling.

You will inspect installations, verify drawings and test results, document findings, and coordinate with technicians and vendors to resolve issues before turnover.

Qualifications

• QA/QC experience in data center infrastructure and related fields.
• Ability to read drawings, rack elevations and installation docs.
• Familiar with testing methods like OTDR, VFL and insertion loss.

Responsibilities

• Inspect prefabricated racks and onsite infrastructure installations
• Review rack placement, labeling and cable management
• Verify cabling against drawings and installation standards
• Review test results and validate fiber/copper connectivity
• Identify defects and support punch-list items
• Coordinate with technicians, vendors, and project leadership to resolve quality issues
