IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, in Chester, Virginia, seeks a full-time QA/QC Manager-Data Center to lead quality assurance for data-center projects. You will assist in developing QA standards, plans, and reporting, while coordinating with project teams and CX groups.

The role emphasizes onsite inspections, training, and ensuring installations meet specifications. Data Center experience and strong communication are highly valued, with eligibility for full-time U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of electrical construction experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Minimum 4 years in QAQC or commissioning of electrical systems.
• Proficient with industry standard QAQC/CX software.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of construction disciplines.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and detail orientation.
• Must pass pre-employment background check; MVR check when operating vehicles is required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing QA/QC standards and continuous improvement evaluations.
• Learn project specs, design, equipment, installations, quality standards, and reporting.
• Develop project-specific QA/QC plans and ensure implementation with the project team.
• Manage deliverables of L1-L3 QA/QC, testing, and CX coordination.
• Collaborate with CX team to close out L4/L5 CX activities.
• Train and evaluate QA/QC staff on project quality tasks.
• Participate in onboarding and field staff training.
• Coordinate quality reviews with project teams and report to management.
• Perform onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Report QA/QC activities through project software and internal communications.
• Work with project team to ensure correct installation on first pass.
