Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, Virginia seeks a full-time QA/QC Manager for Data Center projects. You will develop QA/QC plans, supervise QA/QC staff, and coordinate with project teams to ensure installations meet quality standards. Electrical construction experience is required and Data Center exposure is preferred.

Excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and computer skills (Excel/Word) are essential. Onsite work with pre-employment checks is required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• Minimum 4 years' QAQC or commissioning of electrical systems.
• Proficiency with industry-standard QAQC/CX software.
• Detailed understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Pro active knowledge of construction disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing QA/QC standards and continuous improvement evaluations.
• Develop project QA/QC plans and ensure implementation with project team.
• Manage deliverables of L1-L3 QAQC, testing, and CX coordination.
• Work with CX team to close out L4/L5 CX activities.
• Train and evaluate QA/QC staff on the project.
• Coordinate quality reviews and report to management.
• Perform onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Report QA/QC activities through project software and communications.
