Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in Phoenix is seeking a full-time Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maximizing customer satisfaction and safety. You will coordinate procurement, manage teams, and translate client requirements into actionable plans.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and a proactive problem-solving mindset; a valid driver's license is required and PMI certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security).
• Initiative and proactive problem-solving orientation.
• Strong analytical and cost-control skills.
• Ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate many aspects for small to medium projects from award through completion.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet requirements.
• Effectively communicate project requirements to project team and wider organization and maintain up-to-date records.
• Act as our customer’s best service provider and promote Convergint as first choice for service.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services for timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and performance where applicable.
