Job summary

Trane Supply is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex data center programs from startup through commissioning, spanning colocation facilities to hyperscale sites.

The role emphasizes thermal execution, chilled water systems, and rigorous testing of thermal equipment, with heavy on-site team coordination and client engagement.

A mechanical or electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience is required, with 10+ years in project management, preferably in data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, industry training programs, or equivalent years of experience.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Data Centers, industrial, or HVAC sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in thermal execution, especially in chilled water or water cooling; experience with integrated system testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data center projects from startup to commissioning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with milestones and deliverables.
• Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project modifications per client requirements.
• Oversee integrated system testing and functional testing of data center sites.
• Mentor and coordinate on-site technicians and act as primary technical contact.
• Engage with data center customers to understand needs and ensure specifications and quality standards.
