Job summary

MPI is seeking a Project Manager - Data Center Construction to lead mission‑critical facilities projects in Central Arkansas. You will report to senior operational leadership and guide project teams from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary client contact to deliver outstanding results.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination while ensuring safety, quality, and contractual compliance on high‑value data center initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction.
• Data center experience preferred.
• Experience delivering projects valued at $25M+ preferred.
• Proficiency with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center construction projects from award through turnover.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, schedules, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, engineers, architects, and owner representatives.
• Lead project meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Monitor costs, productivity, and profitability while mitigating risk.

Description

The Project Manager - Data Center Construction will report to senior operational leadership and oversee the successful execution of mission‑critical projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will serve as a key point of contact for clients while leading project teams to deliver exceptional results.

• Manage all aspects of data center construction projects from award through turnover
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and procurement plans
• Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, engineers, architects, and owner representatives
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and profitability while mitigating risk
• Drive safety, quality control, and compliance throughout project execution
• Administer contracts, change orders, and project documentation

Profile

A successful Data Center Project Manager - Central Arkansas should have:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction
• Data center experience strongly preferred
• Experience delivering projects valued at $25M+ preferred
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, BIM, Microsoft Project, Excel, Procore, and Bluebeam
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple project stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
