Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from pre-construction through testing and turnover.
• Draft and execute switching protocols for live transfers and shutdowns.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, pricing, change orders, and schedule tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning providers on-site.
• Lead risk mitigation and quality control to ensure uptime in live environments.
• Use Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools to track milestones.

Our client is seeking a hands' on Data Center Project Manager to lead field execution for live facility upgrades, critical switching, and MEP infrastructure replacements in the $5M to $25M range. This is a direct project execution role focusing on active project delivery rather than general department management.

Remote flexibility and travel required during critical startup, commissioning, and system cutover phases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from pre-construction through testing, commissioning, and final turnover
• Draft and execute detailed operational scripts and switching protocols for live transfers and critical shutdowns
• Oversee day-to-day project operations, submittals, RFIs, pricing, change orders, and schedule tracking
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning providers on-site during critical phases
• Lead risk mitigation and quality control procedures to ensure continuous uptime in live environments
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling tools to track project milestones

SKILLS

• Proven project management experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Technical foundation in electrical systems, controls, electrical contracting, or service and troubleshooting
• Experience working in live critical environments where continuous system uptime is essential
• Hands-on experience with equipment startups, cutovers, testing, or 3rd-party commissioning processes
