Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee installation, commissioning, and handover on multiple construction projects nationwide. Travel up to 95% with weekend and after-hours work is required. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with client and technical requirements.

Compensation starts at $130k annually. Benefits include health coverage, 401K with match, disability, flexible PTO, relocation assistance, and more.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in construction project management.
Strong understanding of building management systems and HVAC controls.
Technical expertise in electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management.
OSHA 30 certification required (training provided if not current).
Proficiency in project management software and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
Oversee installation subcontractors and controls technicians during commissioning.
Maintain ongoing client communications to address concerns and manage expectations.
Identify and mitigate project risks for smooth execution.
Review engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
Track change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses.
Maintain project records, including milestones, billings, and SoV in DivPro.
Provide monthly project updates to senior management.
