Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects nationwide, with emphasis on building automation and HVAC control systems. You will manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and schedules to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

The role requires frequent travel (up to 95%), including weekends and after-hours, with compensation starting at $130,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction project management.
• BMS/HVAC/automation understanding.
• Electrical systems, commissioning, risk management experience.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent organization and planning with attention to detail.
• OSHA 30 certification within past 2 years (training provided if not current).

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedules, and budgets for on-time completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and controls technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing client communication to address concerns and expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks for smooth execution.
• Organize and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review engineering submittals and drawings before handover.
• Track change orders, POs, and expenses to stay within budget.
• Maintain project records (milestones, billings, SoV, DivPro).
• Assign commissioning work and supervise field personnel.
• Review weekly timecards for technicians.
• Approve BoM for each project.
• Provide monthly project updates including billing to senior management.
