Job summary

Divcon Controls is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects nationwide. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedules, budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet client and technical requirements.

Must travel up to 95% (weekends/after-hours). Compensation starts at 130k annually, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
• Provide monthly project updates to senior management.
