Job summary

Fleet Data Centers in Sparks, NV seeks a Project Engineer to maintain controls, records, and follow-through for data center projects on the owner side.

You will support Construction Managers, track decisions, RFIs, submittals, and turnover, and ensure critical information is current and visible. This on-site role emphasizes disciplined organization, proactive follow-up, and clear communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical construction/project experience.
• 0–4 years of construction, project engineering, or project controls experience; owner/operator or developer exposure preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to documentation and follow-up.
• Familiarity with Procore (or equivalent project management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, current, retrievable project records aligned with Fleet standards.
• Track owner decisions, open action items, design clarifications, and commitments to closure.
• Log, route, and track RFIs and submittals for owner action before leadership review.
• Prepare and maintain recurring project reports and status logs.
