Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer II to support mission critical and data center projects in the Kansas City region. You will coordinate procurement, submittals, RFIs, budgets, and documentation while aligning with project managers and trade partners to keep work on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of project engineering experience in MEP-intensive environments and proficiency with Procore. Willingness to relocate for an initial six-month project is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Project Engineer on mission critical or data center projects.
• Procore proficiency required.
• Experience with budgeting and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities, including ITBs, contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Administer and track submittals, RFIs, and related documentation.
• Support project financials by managing commitments, reconciliations, pay applications, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate project setup activities, including scheduling, permitting, and documentation controls.
• Organize and document project meetings, agendas, minutes, and action items.
