Job summary

Actalent in the United States seeks a Project Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of structural support, containment, and ceiling systems for data center clients. You will own multiple projects from sales handoff through closeout, coordinating engineering, submittals, procurement, fabrication, and logistics.

The role requires building and maintaining project schedules, managing risks, serving as primary client contact, and guiding cross-functional teams to meet scope, budget, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Structural preferred).
• 2–3 years of project management experience on CapEx projects in manufacturing.
• Experience reading structural drawings and interpreting specs.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional coordination without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from sales handoff through closeout, coordinating engineering, submittals, and logistics.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and milestones.
• Act as primary client contact, ensure contractual and code alignment.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Manage submittal cycles and Change Orders to keep scope and costs aligned.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure on-time delivery.
