Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks a Project Director - Data Centers to lead all project activities for complex data center programs in the United States. You will align design, construction, and operations to deliver value, reduce waste, and ensure on-time performance.

You will manage a team, shape strategy, and drive client satisfaction while upholding Gilbane’s values of integrity and teamwork. The role can be remote or onsite, with compensation based on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• 25+ years of building construction experience.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Experience with Integrated Project Delivery and Construction Manager at Risk/Design-Build.

Responsibilities

• Monitors overall project performance from cradle to grave with Ops Manager or Market Leader.
• Meets established Sales/Gross Profit goals for projects and accounts.
• Drives safety improvements with Safety Director and site leadership.
• Leads pre/post award activities including go/no go, kickoffs, and contract reviews.
• Drives employee engagement and retention across project teams.
