Job summary

Monarch Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in NY/NJ for data-center switchgear projects from award through commissioning and turnover. You will track submittals, approvals, vendor deliverables, and production milestones, ensuring timely responses and documentation.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination within electrical construction or switchgear procurement.
• Ability to manage submittals, schedules, and construction documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of coordinating across vendors and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring data-center switchgear projects from award through turnover.
• Maintain and update project schedules, procurement logs, submittal logs, and action-item lists.
• Track submittals from submission through review, revision, and final approval.
• Route returned submittals and comments to appropriate parties for action.
• Monitor vendor delivery milestones and production status; flag delays early.
• Coordinate factory testing, delivery, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
