Job summary

Aegis Project Controls is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support its data center practice in Phoenix. You will develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems throughout a project’s life cycle, collaborating with client project managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders.

The role offers growth on a significant project team with on-site work required. Candidates should have 3+ years in project controls, experience with Primavera P6, and a related degree;

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry.
• One or more years of experience in project controls for data centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field (waived with five+ years of vertical construction experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and strong interpretation of construction documents.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification(s) preferred and on-site requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedules.
• Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules with all dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with comprehensive reporting and narratives.
• Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses, identify schedule problems, and recommend actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Review contractor progress and present to management for decisions.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting; identify risk and impacts in schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges to project teams and stakeholders.
