Job summary

TensorWave Inc. is seeking a Project Controller to partner with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to translate field progress into cost tracking and executive reporting for a data center project pipeline.

You will drive standardized cost-tracking, monitor budgets, and flag risks with actionable recommendations. The role requires deep construction accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and hands-on use of NetSuite and RAMP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Construction Accounting, Financial Controlling, or working as a Capital Projects Manager in a Construction firm.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP as applied to job costing, fixed asset capitalization, and milestone revenue/expense recognition
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or a comparable ERP) and RAMP (or comparable procure-to-pay/AP software)
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach — bringing structure to open initiatives without needing step-by-step oversight
• Sound judgment on what needs leadership escalation vs. independent resolution, and a habit of bringing solutions
• Exceptional organizational discipline managing sensitive financial data at scale

Responsibilities

• Translate field and schedule progress into cost tracking and financial reporting across the active pipeline.
• Build standardized cost-tracking templates and dashboards across the project pipeline; ensure budgets and capitalization thresholds are set and reconciled.
• Flag cost overruns or financial impacts of schedule slippage and change orders with executable actions.
• Translate physical progress into core financial systems with weekly status and risk reporting across all active projects.
• Track capital commitments with BOMs and forecast long-lead equipment procurement, focusing on GPUs and infrastructure.
• Reconcile construction-related purchase orders with BOMs and budgets; provide variance explanations.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation trails linking BOM items to POs, receipts, and invoices.
• Provide treasury and capital markets with data for cash flow modelling and covenant reporting.
• Escalate timing shifts and changes impacting cash, financing timelines, or credit terms.
• Centralize a source of truth for operational reality and surface delays, ROI opportunities, risks, and steps.
