Job summary

TensorWave is seeking a Project Controller to partner with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to translate field progress into reliable cost tracking, budget reconciliation, and executive reporting. The role focuses on standardized governance, BOM integration, and proactive identification of overruns and financing implications.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, Finance, and Capital Markets to maintain the financial source of truth and ensure projects stay on budget

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Construction Accounting or financial controlling in a construction setting.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP as applied to job costing, fixed asset capitalization, and milestone revenue/expense recognition.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and procure-to-pay/AP software (RAMP).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Manager to translate schedule status into cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Build standardized cost-tracking templates and dashboards across the project pipeline.
• Flag cost overruns and schedule slippage with executable, recommended actions.
• Translate field progress into core financial systems and consolidated status reports.
• Support CIP, fixed assets, and asset capitalization with BOM alignment.
• Provide weekly spend data to Treasury and monthly updates to FP&A and executives.
