Job description

Data Center Program Manager - Power Delivery (Remote, US)

CBRE is seeking a highly motivated professional with an electrical engineering background and experience in design, construction, operation, and maintenance of Power Delivery infrastructure.

The Power Delivery Project Manager will manage complex electrical infrastructure projects, including developing Statements of Work (SOWs), TCO analyses, concept designs, drawing markups, budgets, schedules, and reviewing vendor submittals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building construction and design, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop plans for power delivery from grid utilities and alternative solutions to meet capacity demands.
  2. Support design risk evaluation, risk management, and budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Manage change control and cost approval processes with internal and external partners.
  4. Review proposals, award contracts, and process documents through established procedures.
  5. Monitor proposals and contract schedules, and generate weekly progress reports.
  6. Support contract negotiations, including establishing general contract terms.
  7. Work with contractors and vendors to provide cost estimates for scope changes.
  8. Ensure QA/QC processes are followed and report issues.
  9. Coordinate and manage owner-direct vendors.
  10. Assist in evaluating product readiness for substations and attend meetings as required.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in Energy/Power Substation delivery.
  2. 5+ years experience in the Power and Energy sector or mission-critical facilities.
  3. Experience with high and medium voltage electrical systems.
  4. Knowledge of construction methods.
  5. Understanding of cross-disciplinary teams: structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural.
  6. Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in report writing, documentation, and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel to sites and vendor facilities as needed.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include 401(K), dental, health, life, and vision insurance. Turner & Townsend considers various factors for compensation and offers a discretionary bonus.
