Job description

Data Center Program Manager - Power Delivery REMOTE

CBRE is seeking a highly motivated Data Center Program Manager with a strong electrical engineering background and experience in Power Delivery infrastructure. This role involves managing complex electrical infrastructure projects, developing Statements of Work (SOWs), conducting TCO analyses, designing concepts, and reviewing vendor submissions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of building construction and design, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop delivery and execution plans for power delivery from grid utilities and alternative sources to meet capacity demands.
  • Support design risk evaluations, risk management, and budget control throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage change control and cost approval processes with internal and external partners.
  • Oversee proposal reviews, contract awards, and process contract documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules, generate weekly progress reports, and support contract negotiations.
  • Provide cost estimates and ensure QA/QC processes are followed.
  • Coordinate with vendors and support evaluation of product readiness for substations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in Power Substation delivery.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Power and Energy sector or mission-critical facilities.
  • Experience with high and medium voltage electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and cross-disciplinary team collaboration.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing, presentations, and flexible to travel as needed.
