Job summary

Verrus is seeking a Product Manager, Data Center Engineering, to own the electrical and mechanical plant infrastructure across our data centers. This full-time role, based in Verrus' Mountain View, CA office, requires translating customer needs into engineering requirements and coordinating with suppliers and partners to deliver the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ME or EE, or related technical field.
• Up to 10 years of experience building hardware and/or software systems.
• Ability to lead customer-facing, deep technical conversations and translate requirements into inputs for engineering product development.
• Experience working with external suppliers, contractors, or contracting bases on installation and operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication across engineering, delivery, contracting and supplier stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own product management of key electrical and mechanical plant infrastructure, including requirements gathering for customer use cases.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and contracting base for installation and operations of plant infrastructure.
• Be the connective tissue tying hardware, controls/PFMS, software infrastructure, and dispatch as a coherent product.
• Lead customer-facing, deep technical conversations to scope customer requirements for electrical/mechanical plant infra.
• Translate customer/field requirements into inputs for engineering product development and partner to realize them.
• Work with engineering, delivery, contracting base, and external partners to execute Verrus' product roadmap from design to commissioning.
