Job summary

KPG99 INC. is seeking an Application Engineer/Process Engineer to work on onsite data center compute services in Jersey City, NJ.

This full-time direct-hire role focuses on designing TOM, workflows, governance, and lifecycle management to optimize capacity, automation, and compliance. You will collaborate with Data Center Operations, Cybersecurity, and Service Management to deliver scalable, policy-driven processes and service models, including automation and lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing data center compute services and operating models.
• Familiarity with ITIL, ISO27001 controls and security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define Target Operating Model for Data Center Compute Services.
• Develop end-to-end workflows: capacity, asset lifecycle, OS patching, hardware refresh, incident/problem/change, DR/BC.
• Create L1-L4 process maps, SIPOC, and RACI matrices.
• Establish standards, SOPs, and playbooks.
• Build operational frameworks for servers (Dell/HPE/Lenovo), VMware/Nutanix/Hyper-V, AI/HPC.
• Define service catalog and consumption models.
• Identify automation opportunities; implement IaC, automated provisioning, workflow orchestration, AI monitoring.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma to improve efficiency.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, OLAs; ensure ITIL/ISO27001 compliance; support audits.
• Plan capacity and lifecycle management; optimize costs.
• Collaborate with Data Center Ops, Cybersecurity, Service Management, Application Owners; run governance workshops.
